Description

John Barimo introduces his “Framework for Integrating Concepts of Sustainability across the Curricula” (developed by Barimo, 2023). He discusses, how the framework was devised and how voices of students and teaching staff were integrated in a co-creation process. He integrates a mapping exercise, in which he works with the SDG toolkit to critically analyse with the participating students how the SDGs are embedded in their studies and find existing connections to the SDGs. Furthermore, he discusses the idea of the Anthropocene and links it to sustainability discussions.

The video was recorded on 19 April 2023 as part of the TESTEd lecture series. It is part two of a two-part series on “Education for Sustainable Development”.
