Start of the CPD course for European teachers

On 27 September, the Teacher Academy ”TESTEd” professional development course kicked off with an international event. 50 teachers from Ireland, Finland, Spain, Portugal and Germany signed up for the course. First, teachers took part in a virtual exchange and discussed how to deal with cross-cutting social issues in their schools.

The training course will continue until mid-March. Periods of self-directed, asynchronous learning and expert advice alternate with synchronous network meetings where teachers present international good practice examples and reflect on their experiences and needs. In addition, a practical transfer of the learned content into one’s own teaching will take place from December 2023.

The course is accompanied by a Moodle service that provides teachers with materials and tips on teaching examples. At the end of the course, the participating teachers will be trained as multipliers to support school development in their schools.
