The project STRIDE – Strategies for Achieving Equity and Inclusion in Education, Training and Learning in Democratic Europe – works towards a comparative and comprehensive knowledge-base on effective education reforms, policy initiatives, and interventions to reduce inequalities in education, training and learning outcomes in Europe. To this end, the project (a) identifies effective policy initiatives that compensate for inequalities, (b) develops a toolbox and policy briefs for policy makers together with national stakeholders and (c) maps long-term trends in education inequalities in Europe.
In our expert talk on STRIDE, we interview Isa Steinmann. Isa Steinmann is Associate Professor at the Department of Primary and Secondary Teacher Education at Oslo Metropolitan University. Her research focusses on determining how education systems and schools affect student achievement and educational inequality outcomes.
